Kalvin Hahn (GOAL) selected for USA Swimming National Select Camp

On Monday, September 19, Kalvin Hahn of Greater Omaha Aquatics was selected for the 2022 USA Swimming National Select Camp in October at the Olympic/Paralympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. 

Numerous current National Team members and 2020 Tokyo Olympians have previously attended the National Select Camps, including Katie Ledecky, Michael Andrew, Lilly King, Hali Flickinger, Kieran Smith and Bobby Finke. 

Selection categories for these camps: 
1. The top three athletes in each event were selected based on Long Course Meters (LCM) competition ranking from September 1, 2021 – August 31, 2022.
2. Six female and six male athletes with the highest individual IMX Power Point scores swum between September 1, 2021 – August 31, 2022.
3. The top-two athletes in the 7.5k and top athlete in the 5k from each competition category were selected based on results from the 2022 USA Swimming Open Water Junior Nationals. 
 

During the three-day camps, the 51 boys and 51 girls attending will experience the day-to-day routine of a National Team athlete, including being accommodated at the Training Center.
